Words don't come easy...

De Letters & donkeys!

They don't come easy but Niamh is making a great effort learning her languages, English and Catalan at the moment. When she starts school in a years time, she will also learn Spanish. Her first proper words other than papa and mama are MORE, POO POO, PEE PEE, CAR, CHICK CHICK, TA, PEASE (meaning PLEASE), BISCUIT (or similar), HAPPY, UPBIG (meaning get up, stand up or pick me up), NOSE, EYES. Then she does lots of animal sounds and her favourite is obviously EEEEEOOOO (her beloved donkeys). On the Catalan side, her first words are IAIA (GRAN), AIGUA (WATER), POCPOC (SLOWLY), CACA (POO), LLUISA (her teacher's name - not an easy one).
She talks a lot but we don't really understand half of it... She's started to sing some of the tunes of her favourite songs which are twinkle twinkle (she makes up the lyrics as she sings), E-I-E-I-O, happy happy and Kev is trying to teach her Peter Rabbit.
We have posted some pictures of Niamh in her bedroom and also feeding the donkeys. There are also a couple of videos of Niamh battling with her foam letters.
