Gran and Granda came to visit!

September has gone very fast. Gran and Granda came to visit and stayed with us for a few days. They brought a lovely bike that Iona has kindly passed on to Niamh. Gran and Granda also brought lots of presents for Liam from everyone back in England and Scotland. Many thanks!!! Most importantly, we got lots of cheddar cheese and 6 cans of baked beans! Yes, young Kev has the cold turkey with the old beanos.

On a more educational note, Niamh is back at nursery. She struggled a lot the fisrt week. We can't blame her for that, what can you say after 2 and a half month of hols?!!!? She now seems even happy to go there and waves me goodbye! This morning we have witnessed how Niamh put her trainers on. We were very impressed, little tear of proudness I would even say. As Mama Alicia was trying to show off with Niamh's teacher - Carme, it seems that young Niamh has been doing it for a few days at nursery... She is so clever!!!

Young Liam is enjoying life as it is, feeding, burping, farting and sleeping! What more can you ask for. He's piling on the pounds and the 3 to 6 month jammies and vests will soon go in the washing machine as his current vests look like muscle tops on him.

We have managed to find swimming lessons for both - we've been waitlisted for Niamh for over 6 months. Starting in November and looking forward to it. Niamh gets very excited at the sight of water, either swimming pool or beach. Hopefully she'll still enjoy her kicks in the water.
